Breed Selection is a great service that Perfect Pooch offers to help aid you in choosing the right breed for your lifestyle and family.

Breed Selection Fee—$125.00 (This price includes all of the following):

Selecting the right puppy for your home is an important decision and should not be taken lightly. Perfect Pooch does not recommend the purchase of any puppy from any pet stores or backyard breeders.

It is very important to select the right puppy from the right breeder in order to avoid future behavior problems, genetic defects, and heath issues. Perfect Pooch Training & Behavior is here to help you through this very important process.

What do you get:

1. An in-home evaluation of your family’s lifestyle and daily schedule to aid in the selection the correct breed, this evaluation usually takes about an hour.

2. Once your family has decided what breed of dog is appropriate for your life, we find a reputable breeder in your area for you. This process includes your trainer finding out all the following details:

¨ History of puppy’s parents

¨ How puppies are raised, including what types of interaction, socialization, and training they are getting since birth

¨ What type environment they are being raised in

¨ History and background of breeders

¨ What heath guarantees are offered & any genetic issues

¨ Prices of puppies/what selections are offered

3. Your trainer will also accompany you to the breeder to purchase your puppy. At that time, your trainer will perform a series of puppy temperament tests in order to help you select a puppy that will suite your family and home.

4. You will also receive one in-home follow up training session to begin the housetraining and socialization process for the new addition to your family.

After the breed selection process is complete, you may want to continue your new pet’s training. Feel free to view the variety of available training packages that Perfect Pooch has to offer to you and your new companion.
